I took my xoom back,because other than the pretty interface it ran like crap. It was laggy,glitchy,and kinda slow. I exchanged it,and after that I was done. I bought an iPad 2 black 32 gb wifi model,and couldn't be happier. Buttery smooth UI,very fast,snappy,and a beautiful yet boring interface. Look forward to iOS 5. PS. If you're listening STEVEN A. JOBS IOS NOTIFICATIONS SUCK ASS. FIX IT PLEASE. I KNOW APPLE CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!!!!

once you buy two or more apple products , you will understand how much better they are to EVERY SINGLE copy product out there ,, apple simply wont except 2nd . they will be 1st.

Yow guys don't get me wrong. The Xoom looks good and it's a cool thing and maybe I would have bought one too. Maybe if I had an andoid tablet I would say that iPad sucks. I think in the end it's a matter of personal preferences. And there are a lot of apple freaks out there. Including me sinds I bought my first iphone.

@TitoTyfus you telling me you wouldn't want the option to make YOUR device look and run how YOU wanted? you can have facebook, twitter etc live on you device. or latest youtube clips scrolling on your home screen, latest apps from app store scrolling on your home screen, so when you see something you like on that widget, touch it & takes you directly to it, where as ios you gotta tap on app store, look for whats latest then go on it. Its not that important but its an OPTION you dont have on ios.

@TitoTyfus My argument is. for the cost of an iphone4 or an ipad1 or 2, out of the box, what do you actually get?. Forget app store because android don't rely on it and top android phones and tabs out of the box show more for the value for money then ip4 or tabs. No built in hdmi out, no sd card slot, les then a meg cam on ipad2. Now ios users say don't need flash bla bla but whats the point of having a ipad with same web experience as iphone?. mac and mac books have flash, why not ipad?

@TitoTyfus Whats the point of multitasking? whats the point of folders? these are the things iphone users use to say before they got it added to the ios. Now if you not had much experience with widgets then you don't know its value. If ios5 get widgets WATCH ALL ios users opinions change and think its a new thing lol. The thing with widgets on android is, you don't have to use them but there if YOU want. Android on phones and xoom has the best notification system, ios is SOOOO out dated.

To apple users. did you know that the ios update 4.3.2 are to address a number of bugs and security flaws within the current offering. Apple won't say what these security issues are however just because its apple , its closed dont mean its not open to attacks. Apple just hide it from you. As anyone with a brain know apple mislead people..just like 1st gen iphone when said in it ads that you get FULL web experience, then got sued for force advertising.

Well, to be onest I thought the Xoom would be crap. Like the galaxy tap. But I got to edmit it's pretty good and it looks good. But the interface is really slow compared to the iPad. And why do you need fancy widgets and stuff if you can launch every app in 2 tap's or less. The iPas also load's app's a whole lot faster. And after a jailbreak you can costumize springboard. I would go ipad. And with the ipad 2 they fixed camera's and it has a dual core processor! Like the Xoom but love the iPad.

@dartinart lol ios jaibreak aka hacked, which means exploited, after all you get free apps, whos to say the apps dont have a virus in them?. after ios got virus from a pdf file, look it up. so ios isnt invincible. plus its all excuses to FORCE ios users to buy everything apple at double the price. Try connect directly to usb car stereo without a dock just supplied usb...dont work. so ios is closed in many ways

@TheTechTweeterMan I agree with everything I am hearing and going out there and testing these devices, I even tested a Rooted Xoom, forget it Ipad could only dream of doing the things it was doing......Im sold by by Ipad Hello Xoom, this thing really is the closest thing to an actual functioning computer rather than just a app device to put filters on photos and check email....it goes way beyond that....

I do not get it, simple and fast is not ok? Is that the conclusion? I use my iPad because is fast to get to things that are most usual throughout the day. Like checking email, write a document and stuff. Closed platform curated. Sure, I would hate to get viruses and exploits on my tablet and than buy anti viruses and look for updates, like it starts to happen with android phones

cant decide, get a xoom it has much more potential for the future and growth
