Can someone tell me witch one is around $1000 to $1400 and is the best for that price range in the g series. Also it has to be great with gaming, max quality.

hej guys i just buyed the Asus g73sw 3de and i cant wait untill it comes to my buidling ;) i need to know if there are no issues or coalitions if i install 30 of the most elite games like starcraft2, gta4, fragon age 2 and so on...so what kind of problems can happen if i do something like that?...years ago i remeber my self playing in some old pc and i could only play 1 game...and i haved to close every aplication that was open ;/ do you think any of this will happen with this beauty from Asus?

So im thinking of buying the G53jw.....does anybody know of any problems that have been found with it? And please dont tell me how hard it is to access the hard drives or ram slots....i already know that thanks. :)

@driftapex Is the G53JW good for school? I know its probably heavy and have low battery life but should it suffice?

I got one of the first versions of the G73. I had GPU problems (GSODs), and my keyboard lights didn't work. However, all these problems have been since fixed. Had to flash the vbios and a few other things. If you buy a new one, I HIGHLY doubt you'll have the same amount of problems as the first ones did. If you are looking for gaming laptops, this is one of the best out there, especially when you factor in the price. I'd say, go for it! Mine runs everything I throw at it like a champ!

@Str82YourFace Sounds good. Are you looking for portability as in looking to bring it to work or school? It's a little hefty according to many but it's about a couple pounds lighter than the Alienware M15x.

plz help me decide i wanna buy this laptop but i've seen lots of problems like the Psychedelic Screen of Death ,LCD stripes , not being able to update the GPU card driver , high pitched noise from speakers, overheating and shutting down and many others yet it still has one of the most powerful graphic card out there ,,also gonna sell my macbook pro 13 2.4GHz 'cause it cant game for shit !

If the A1, A2 and A3 are discontinued, and the B1 is the new model.. Does this mean that the old models are worse than the B1 by a significant amount? Thank-you

the difference is the specs and blue ray, its just levels of performance A1 being the best.

i got the version with i7 720, 6gb ram, blue ray and my work awesome
