Link please
i was only able to get marathon one for my mac i tried to download the game but its too difficult does any one know how to if so tell me
@d4matt Yes, so it isn't just me. Apparently, Source.Bungie.org has suffered something related to their files and whoever's hosting. I don't know how to help you there, other than suggesting a few things like bitTorrenting (I've never really trusted torrents) or something like that. Fileplanet, that kind of stuff.
@yellowspartan77 I tried downloading marathon 1 2 and 3 but for some reason I just get one file instead of a folder. When I try to run it with Aleph one it asks for the maps and stuff, but it only came out with the one file so there is basically no maps and stuff.
LogmeIn / hamachi enables LAN via net :)
@yellowspartan77okay well if you do find out please comment back cuz im a big fan of the game
@krpndeth You know, I don't know. I haven't gotten around to upgrading to Windows 7. Probably (can't you run stuff in compatability mode anyways?).
Does it work for Windows 7?
what is the music?
can you give a direct link please?
Okay, well it looks like OpenSource went down or something, and the M1A1 and Infinity scenarios were corrupted (No surprise that Durandal still works). With that being said, I'm going to figure out how to get the other two working and then post a new video up, getting rid of this one as it's now outdated. This is probably the problem that many of you have encountered, but I never bothered to have a look at it. AlephOne still works just fine and can be grabbed from OpenSource.
I have a problem. When I join a game in Marathon 2, it says that there was a runtime error that caused the program to terminate in an unusual way. I have the latest version.
@ThatLittleFunnyDude Very odd...
I apoligize for not having the skills to download a game onto my computer, but when I click aleph one/marathon and choose open, or i'll save it... it still gives me crap. "Windows cannot open folder." all that good stuff :/
You should've extracted the files already... it won't run if they're still in the zipped folder. Other than that, I need more information to fully understand the problem.
Yes.
My computer keeps giving me crap about the folder being zipped, or that it's invalid... any ideas?
Can you do this with Vista?
That's the newest one then. I haven't been to Open Source in a while, so forgive me if I'm wrong on this. Now, everything should be in that AlephOne folder, and you should only have to Copy the shortcut for the AlephOne executable... or if you're on Mac, application.
does it matter if i have a folder called AlephOne-20100118? it doesnt have a script folder and some other things
I had an old AVGN wallpaper, but I've moved onto Team Fortress 2 sadistic Heavy wallpapers. They're quite fun!
Re-download both the AlephOne and Infinity scenario folders from Open Source. If it's only Infinity that's not working, then go ahead and get that. If you're talking about network play, then it's AlephOne and you just have to get the latest version.
ok i need help here, im not sure if there is something wrong with my computer or not, but when i copy the aleph one file into the infinity folder, it wont play.
man helped so much. thanks a lot. never would have guessed to copy and paste aleph one.
