Do you press (Command-F2) once you've plugged in your console? And will this work on a Macbook with a Mini Display Port or only the 27"?

@Deusdictum For hooking up multiple displays, consoles, cable box, lcd/plasma tv.. You could always get a cable, but I think its something that should be included with a imac's..

@yshawnjones I believe no one buys an iMac just for movies. But whatever the case, even movies will look better on this one, even with resampling, because the pixels are smaller and tighter. Not to mention 3D rendering, which will look even better. It's a 1440p after all.

This video conveniently omits the fact that the 27" Imac's display input DOES NOT ACCEPT 1080P. It only accepts two display resolutions: 2560x1440 (native) and 1280x720. How do you think blu ray looks @ 720??? Yea, you can adjust the ps3/360's display output,... but sorry, I'm a 1080p man. Thanks Apple.... Don't believe me, go to Kanex XD and look under FAQ's #2
