Comments require approval due to spam. Sorry. Aka Medieval Helpdesk. This video makes fun of moderns newbie computer users by illustrating - in a way fully understandable to them - how silly some of their questions are by creating a similar problem in the Middle Ages. It's from a show called Øystein & Meg (Øystein & I) produced by the Norwegian Broadcasting television channel (NRK) in 2001. The spoken language is Norwegian. It's written by Knut Nærum and performed by Øystein Bache and Rune Gokstad. NEWS: NRK have uploaded an official version of this video themselves - also with Eng subtitles. It is located at www.youtube.com

@Aqene1000 Yeah, but the scroll only holds 1.44 MB.
But...what if I'm afraid of crashing the whole thing?
The best part is at the end when the manual is in the same format so useless to him ;) typical too!
I first saw this in my Library Research class. Totally funny!
" THE SCROLL IS FASTER THAN THE BOOK " You tell ' em Ansgar !
Back in the day when that type of book was invented it probably went kind of like that for new book readers (a lot of people were illiterate).

So funny. What's also great is that I knew exactly what this is a parody of - older folk and computers. Didn't have to be told. LOL. I'm part of the older crowd, so I laughed at many of the man's questions. they sound like many I've asked and I realize how silly they must sound to the technical support guy on the phone.
Divertente!
Genial :)

Excellent! Very funny!
Poignantly shows what it is like to be on either side of a tech support question. One of the funniest bits I've seen in a while.
