My computer can't play this game, it's too advanced for the game. It goes way too smooth and fast, then an error message pops up in the game saying there's a fatal error and has to close. Any advice on how to get this to work? I have windows XP

@lastwhiteman23 KO97 was a European game by Anco Software. Streets was developed by Maxis themselves as part of the planned inhouse Maxis Sports line, which never came to full fruition. Kick Off has been going on since 1989, long before Maxis picked up localized publishing rights for that one single year. Same goes for those La Russa games, which are by Strategic Simulations and Stormfront, not Maxis. They only published it in some places. That's like saying SimCity was an Infogrames title.
You're wrong about this being maxis sports only title, they also released Kick Off 97and Tony La Russa Baseball 3 and 4

@Disthron that would be pretty cool. i have this game i loved messing around in it...and i agree with the desolate feel to it...i was expecting to drive around my cities, running over lot of pedestrians and smashing lots of cars...
@bbricksproduction That caused some hurt I'm sure, but it was a whole slew of reasons that Maxis started on a quick downward spiral. Not the least of which was very poor management pushing and rushing things.
Wasnt it the SimCopter controversy that actually killed the games sales and maxis?
