Yes, thank you! I am much better now, plus I want to say how much I appreciate your posts during this whole thing. I don't know why but they helped a lot. Glad this is all behind me ~ pun not intended ;)
It depends on how much air the Dr. pumps into you while doing the procedure. I hope you're feeling better by now.
I take that last sentance back. The worst part is the pain I have now in my belly, and all the gas that is seemingly never ending. I called the ER last night to find out how much pain in my belly is normal for a colonoscopy and the nurse said if I am worse then a 5 by the next day I should come in. Well today is the next day and I am considerably better in the pain department but the farts just never end. I can't wait for the end of all this gas. Sounds funny but its not.
THe Dr. disappeared after the procedure. I got a certificate saying all clear. I would like to know what happened there , that made me actually feel it through the anesthesia , bad enough to make me yelp. Twice. Plus the nurse had to stick the IV in my arm 3 times! Oh well, at least I'm ok and its over. The worst part was drinking that stuff. I picked pineapple flavor , I tasted the lemon lime and it was awful in fact I tasted each one and found that pineapple was the least of the evils.
It's "kind of like someone shoving something up there" because it IS "someone shoving something up there". They're supposed to put you under for that, so you shouldn't feel anything.
Actually , soon as I typed that I felt something. Much later everything worked as planned, I just got home from my colonoscopy and I didn't have any polyps to remove... I did feel some pain while he was doing it though.. kind of like someone shoving something up there. I remember saying "that really hurts".
I hope by now something has happened!
I took the two pills 2 1/2 hours ago, I'm only farting , still no poop action.
