Very good Review! I wanted to buy the book (for dead eyes only) but I got the game. I played it last time anno 2000. But it lost nothing of his charm and happynes. Lo Wang is much better than Duke Nukem, its a pitty they never make Shadowarrior 2 . (only the add-on maps). You can look up and down with the mouse. You have no senivity option but it works also without .... Wer retro Egoshooter mag ist hier an der richtigen Adresse! :) 5 * Man who buy drowned cat pay for wet pussy.

Hey man do you know about Redneck Rampage? It came out the same year as Shadow Warrior and its also on the same engine so it plays alot like Duke Nukem :D
@thezorin I'm a ninja, I practice Ninjutsu about 5 years and I know that Ninjutsu in Taijutsu form is jujutsu from the Samurais, and jujutsu it's a evolution from movementes of Wushu because Kung fu is a state.
@1codcod Ninjitsu is Japanese, but the original ninjas were trained by chinese kung fu masters.... If you actually observe Ninjitsu compared to other japanese martial arts, and then compare it to kung fu it is much more similar to kung fu

@1codcod It's actually a highly-debated topic and I didn't feel like going into it in this video. There is evidence that he's Chinese (Ancient Chinese Secrets, references to kung-fu) but possibly a Japanese ninja. The original working titles was Ninja Master, but it was obviously changed, possibly because he is not, in fact, a true ninja. Yet there are just as many refernces to ninjas & Japan. There is an article about all this on 'Classic Games Resurrected' that's worth a read, quite confusing.

Nice review.Never knew about this game.
Man I finally got the demo of this to work in XP and DAMN is it hard.. I thought Blood was hard.. it was NOTHING compared to this.. I couldn't even beat the first level. I really wish they could make source-ports for Blood, Redneck Rampage, and Shadow Warrior like they did with Duke Nukem (JDuke) because my biggest problem with SW and Blood is that they are laggy running through DOSbox. But on the other hand Jduke runs like silk and is SO much fun.

@theawaitinggargoyle GOG.com has your Blood and Rott needs covered. Shadow Warrior was still being sold from 3D Realms last time I looked. They could use your funds for the sequel or reboot for Rott :)

@Lachlant1984 The game is pretty easy to find on eBay and the like, at least the disc and manual only. And you can download it from 3D Realms' site. Heh, I had forgotten about the Ninja Gaiden name. That is indeed a VERY different game!
This game just looks cool, how easy is it to get now? Have you ever played a Double Dragon esque game called Ninja Gaiden? In some parts of the world that game was known as Shadow Warrior, it's a completely different game in every aspect except of course for the far eastern martial arts and fighting references.
I've watched your reviews of Duke, Blood, Carmageddon and, yeah, homicidal maniac much? ;¬) Me? The Build Engine creeps me out so I pretty much hate anything made using it; yeah pussy I know but it was something about playing Duke with some fucked up mod that kept spawning shit (literally sometimes) all over the place endlessly and me being too young to 'get it' at the time. Blood doesn't seem too fucked up though. Anyway thanks for the videos as always; time to watch the rest...
